Map data and attribution

Map data comes from OpenStreetMap and its contributors, and is available under the Open Database License (ODbL). The maps and screenshots on this site and on the demo are Produced Works derived from that data. The geometry, the rendering and the tile pipeline are produced by the publisher; the underlying data remains under the ODbL.

What this site collects

This site sets no cookie, runs no analytics script and makes no third-party request. Three things are nevertheless processed, and the duty to inform is triggered by the processing rather than by any sale.

• Web server access logs. Our server records the usual request line: IP address, date, requested URL, user agent. IP addresses are personal data. They are processed on the basis of legitimate interest, to keep the service available and to understand which pages are being crawled and read, and they are kept for 90 days before rotation deletes them.
• Email you send us. Writing to the address above sends us your address and your message, and nothing else. It is used to answer you.
• Error reporting on the demo. The demo application at demo.citymap3d.com reports its own JavaScript errors so they can be fixed. That report carries the technical context of the failure.
